Installation Instructions for

NA-GD series of gas/LP rotisseries
 

Your new rotisserie is delivered as a complete package ready for use. It has to be assembled using the following installation procedure:

                STEP 1: Pull the back cover up and then towards you, using the provided access hole. Complete removal of the back cover by pulling it down along its tracks. (See illustration # 1)

STEP 2: Remove the three bolts and the safety disks from the unit’s frame. (See illustration # 2)

STEP 3: The upper frame comes pre-assembled and is placed on the unit’s body, then securely mounted from below using the bolts and the safety disks provided for this purpose. (See Illustration # 3)

Please not that the upper motor support rod has to be inserted fully before using the
unit. Tighten the motor support rod using the bolt with handle.

STEP 4: Loosen the cable support, mount upright and tighten. (See illustration #4)

    STEP 5: Loosen the lower skewer guide and move into desired position. Please note that the meat cone is supposed to be about 8 to 10 cm (about 4 inches) from the burners. (See illustration # 5)

    STEP 6: Secure cone plate on the skewer with the provided safety pin, with the plate guide facing down.
    You can check proper installation of the plate by making sure that the plate sits above the lowest burner’s bottom edge. (See illustration # 6)

    STEP 7: Move the opening in the upper skewer guide attached to the motor to the front by briefly running the motor. Lift skewer sleeve. (See illustration # 7)

    STEP 8: Put skewer onto lower skewer guide and then slide into upper skewer guide. Let sleeve fall into place.

    STEP 9: Bring motor into the proper position on the upper motor rod and tighten with the provided bolts.

    STEP 10: When tightening the motor, tighten the rail guide bolt first, followed by the motor bolt. (See illustration # 8)

    STEP 11: Straighten out the motor cable and keep taut at all times.

Your rotisserie is now ready for the connection of the gas/LP fuel lines.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Gas/LP installation has to be done by a certified installation professional. Please provide the installer with the instructions that accompany this unit. Make sure that the gas pressure is according to specifications. The port for measuring gas pressure sits on the left-hand side at the back of the unit’s main gas connection.

STEP 12: Re-install the back cover by placing it into its upper tracks and pushing it upwards. Then
push cover forward into the guide provided by the side bolts and let drop into lower cover guide. (See illustration #1).
Now you can move your rotisserie into its final position for operation.
